I must apologize for being gone for so long. Just about the time of my last blog post, Charlotte Photography got swamped with work. PRAISE THE LORD. ( I am always thankful for every job that comes our way. ) Anyway, we have been up to our eyeballs in editing, weddings, holiday portraits, events, etc. I have not had the extra energy to sit at the computer longer and blog when I have already been editing for hours or shooting all day. I miss it though. I also miss catching up on all my blog reading. Bare with me a little longer. I am finishing up some wedding albums this week, have a big even going on Friday that I have been planning for weeks, photo shoots all weekend, and then out of town again to FL next weekend for another wedding. It is the season to be jolly! :-)
I cannot wait for Christmas. It is going to be fabulous. I love the music, decorations, smell, and feel. We got our tree last week, but it has been sitting undecorated in our living room. I believe either tonight will be the night we get it all pretty or this weekend. We bought it from our churches highschool as they are raising money to go to Ireland in May.
In closing, I am going to post some iphone photos I have taken in the past few days of some of the decorating I have done around the house in between work. Enjoy!
These glass birds were my grandmothers. They will stay up all year round.
This was my holiday craft, a yarn wreath. It doesn't look very holiday-ish, but I love it. :-)
Hot cocoa break.
Our undecorated tree.
I took some of the christmas tree clippings and put them around my candles on the mantle. There are my colorful felt stockings i got last year too. :-)
The only ornament on the tree as of yet. Just bought this today at Target, thought it was so cute.
